Engraving

Information

Engraving is possible on gold, silver, nickel, glass, and bronze products. Alternatively, we can engrave the Cumbrian slate plinth that they can be presented on.  You can have any text engraved onto the flat ankle part of the feet or wrist of the hands. Most people choose to engrave their precious sculptures with their baby's name and age at the time of casting or their date of birth.

 

All of our engraving is done by hand by our master engraver. Please note that individual engraving is subject to his artistic interpretation of a font.  It is not uniform and can sometimes vary slightly in size.

Engraving styles

We have many fonts for our clients to choose from. Font No 35 is not a font that can be copied. It's there to show that our engraver can copy handwriting. For any queries, do send us an email at enquiries@zoegreen.co.uk

Price

Engraving on a pair of hands or feet starts at £140 and £100 for a single hand or foot. Cast engraving usually involves either a name or initials and date of birth or casting date. If you require a more lengthy inscription, there may be an additional cost which we can quote you for.
